DAY1Fukuoka –Nagasaki
(Meals On Board/Dinner)
  • Assemble at Airport for your flight to Fukouka. Upon arrival, proceed to Huis Ten Bosch, a Dutch–themed park where you can experience a touch of Europe. Tonight, ascend the 333–metre high Mt Inasa by ropeway and enjoy a spectacular night view of Nagasaki.
DAY2Nagasaki – Kumamoto (Breakfast/Lunch)
  • Take a morning stroll through Glover Garden, located on a hilltop overlooking Nagasaki port. It features 9 Western–style residences of European families who settled in Nagasaki in the 19th century. Visit Glover House, Madame Butterfly statue and the numerous landscaped gardens. After lunch, visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which commemorates the atomic explosion on 9 August 1945. In the park stands the Peace Statue and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, where you can see preserved evidence of the atomic blast. Next, enjoy a ferry ride to Kumamoto. Visit Kumamoto Castle, reputed as one of the 3 most famous castles in Japan. In the late afternoon, enjoy shopping at Kamitori and Shimotori, major shopping belts in downtown Kumamoto.
DAY3Kumamoto – Kagoshima– Ibusuki (Breakfast/Dinner)
  • This morning, take a leisure drive to Kagoshima. Boosting a chain of active and dormant volcanoes, this prefecture is also renowned for its hot springs. Catch a glimpse of Sakurajima Island, an active volcano. Visit the 300–year–old Suizenji Park which offers one of the best landscaped gardens in Japan which is most beautiful in spring. Take a voyage back in time at Amaminosato, a beautiful cultural Japanese garden and learn the history and making of kimonos here. Next, go on a shopping spree along Tenmonkan before you end the day in Ibusuki. Dress up in a traditional yukata and experience a unique hot sand bath at an Ibusuki onsen resort to end the day.
DAY4Ibusuki – Mt Aso (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
  • After breakfast, journey up Mt Aso to enjoy a magnificent view via Mt Aso Ropeway, the world’s 1st ropeway to be built on an active volcano. Thereafter, take a drive along Mt Aso Nakadake Crater and see the green plains of Kusasenri. In sharp contrast to the desolate scene around the crater, you will find a tranquil scene of cattle and horses grazing on grassy pastures. End the day with a visit to ASO Farm Land, a full–scale health facility that will rejuvenate your body and soul. You may touch and feed animals such as alpaca and flamingos. This evening, stay in an onsen resort in Mt Aso region.
DAY5Mt Aso – Oita – Beppu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
  • Take a morning walk through the Kokonoe“Yume” Grand Suspension Bridge before you proceed to Beppu. Visit the famous Chinoike–jigoku, a pond of boiling red water and Umi–jigoku, a pond of boiling blue water. This evening, pamper yourself with a traditional hot spring bath in an onsen resort in Beppu.
DAY6Beppu – Oita – Fukuoka (Breakfast)
  • En route to Fukuoka, stop by Kitsuki Castle Town to see rustic Samurai houses. Proceed to Tosu Premium Outlets, for a last–minute shopping spree. Next, visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, a famous shrine enveloped with 6,000 plum trees. If time permits, visit shopping and entertainment hotspot Canal City Hakata, creatively designed with vivid colours. This complex is a miniaturised city within a city, with everything from a movie theatre and amusement park to restaurants and shops.
DAY7Fukuoka (Breakfast/Meals On Board)
  • If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
