DAY1Kaohsiung (Meals On Board)
  • Assemble at Airport for your flight to southern Taiwan’s most prosperous city, Kaohsiung. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
DAY2CKaohsiung – Taitung (Breakfast/ Dinner)
  • After breakfast, transfer by ferry to Cijin to visit Cijin Old Street and Cijin Windmill Park. You may enjoy fresh seafood for lunch at your own expense. Thereafter, visit a pearl cultivation centre. Next, transfer to Taitung where you will stay at an exclusive hot spring resort with personal hot spring facility in room.
DAY3Taitung – Hualien (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
  • This morning, proceed to Luye Gaotai and admire the distant mountains and lush tea plantations. Thereafter, explore Bunun Tribe Cultural Park to learn about the culture of aboriginal tribes and watch a theatre performance. You will also enjoy an authentic Bunun tribe cuisine lunch. Next, proceed to Mr Brown Avenue to admire its vast rice fields, where the most expensive rice in Taiwan is grown. Next, continue to Ikegami rice museum. This evening, stay at a leisure farm in Hualien, where you can join in the fun–filled activities together with your fellow travellers or indulge in recreational facilities.
DAY4Hualien (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
  • After breakfast, proceed for whale and dolphin watching. You will learn about the ecological environment of whales and dolphins in Taiwan as experts take you through the various hotspots for these mammals. Besides admiring the scenic Pacific Ocean, you can also view the beauty of Hualien Harbour from the boat. Thereafter, transfer to Taroko National Park to admire the various geological marvels such as Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns and Changchun Shrine. Next, visit a lingzhi specialty centre. This evening, enjoy an idyllic stay in Taroko National Park.
DAY5Hualien – Yilan – Taipei (Breakfast/ Dinner)
  • After breakfast, enjoy an east coast scenic train ride to Yilan. On arrival, visit Jimmy’s Park which is located just outside the train station. It is the first public space dedicated to themes from famous Taiwanese illustrator, Jimmy. En route to Taipei, cross Hsuehshan Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Taiwan. Thereafter, continue to Shifen Old Street to experience the joy of lighting and releasing heavenly lanterns with your fellow travellers. Take a leisure stroll to the nearby Jing’an Suspension Bridge to view Keelung River from afar. Next, visit a Pixiu lucky charm centre. This evening, explore the popular Ningxia Night Market, famous for its variety of traditional Taiwanese snacks such as braised pork rice, oyster omelette, bean curd jelly and taro balls.
DAY6LAKE AKAN – SAPPORO (Breakfast)
  • Today, spend your day at leisure. You may choose to explore Tamsui at your own expense. Visit historic Tamsui Old Street, famous for its iron eggs and well–preserved buildings. Alternatively, indulge in a shopping spree at Taipei 101 and Ximending for the latest fashion. Last but not least, you may wish to take a leisure stroll along Fisherman’s Wharf, filming site of the popular TV drama serial, “Meteor Garden”.
DAY7Taipei (Breakfast/Meals On Board)
  • If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
